I first heard Glenn playing at an open mic at The Midland Cultural Centre. He was singing a song he had written, and something in the words and melody made me stop and listen. I told him that I liked his songs and that I was a songwriter and performer myself and that if he was interested I could offer some coaching. I love to teach and when I see someone with talent, I go fishing. Glenn started coming to me and sharing his music. I would challenge him to expand his boundaries, the better he got the more I would challenge him. He just kept getting better! I love and admire his talent for melodies and he has written songs that would have put me over the moon if I had written them. He’s a true musician and hard worker. I am delighted to be part of the process.
